Yet in the US California and Texas both have similar movements, but neither has faced a formal probe (at least none I've heard of).
And the Antifa movement and the Revolutionary Communist Party, USA apparently plan to actually overthrow the current US administration. You can read about them here:

You may think the CA, TX, and Antifa movements are just a tempest in a teapot. But history has shown that a small committed movement can indeed overthrow an existing government (e.g., the Bolsheviks and the Nazis). It can happen here, and it may ... especially because the Leftists and their MSM would just LOVE to use Trump's perceived weakness as an excuse to drive him out of office.
By the way, groups such as Black Lives Matter also apparently intend to overthrow the Constitution of the United States. Is this not also "sedition"?
