Don't kid yourself that this is a "Trump" phenomenon. The police ALREADY had that mentality, as proven by the number of innocent people they have been killing.
And this will continue no matter who is in the White House.
The only way to stop this is to hold BOTH our troops and police accountable to the law. But we have not done that for quite some time ... if ever.
