Thought For The Day - June 27, 2017

President Trump, please share this with your advisers, admirals, and generals:

“Military action,” we should note, is a criminal activity under the U.N. Charter and under the Kellogg-Briand Pact. It is not just “politics by other means,” but rather the quintessentially rogue action.

How soon we forget what was proclaimed at the Nuremberg Trials, although I suspect we always meant this to apply to everyone except the United States:

"To initiate a war of aggression is not only an international crime; it is the supreme international crime, differing only from other war crimes in that it contains within itself the accumulated evil of the whole."

Here is the REAL thought for the day - how did the United States come to contain within itself the accumulated evil of the whole? If you believe we don't, you should reconsider.
