The Absurdity Of US "Healthcare"

Here is a prime example of how absurd US "healthcare" has become:

Few benefits are more vulnerable than maternity coverage under the proposed bill, in a country where giving birth usually costs $10,000 if paid out of pocket.

Why should giving birth, a bodily function common throughout the animal kingdom, cost anything at all? It's something you can do for yourself ... for free.

Pharma, medicine, and surgery in the US are rackets. They should be prosecuted using the RICO Statute and brought under control.
