European Union boss Jean-Claude Juncker this afternoon issued a jaw-dropping threat to the United States, saying he could campaign to break up the country in revenge for Donald Trump’s supportive comments about Brexit.

Frankly, if the EU doesn't do something like this, they are toast. The US either will destroy Europe as an economic power or accomplish the equivalent by starting a war with Russia.
My advice to Europe - go your own way. If you think the US gives a damn about you, take a look at our broken promises to and treaties with American Indians and the Palestinians. The US only cares about the US; and that means the US national security state and the military-industrial-information-banking complex only. That cabal would GLADLY sacrifice the EU on the altar of US global hegemony.
In fact, they clearly already are.
