Making Protein Out Of Thin Air ???

In a bid to solve the international famine problem, scientists in Finland have managed to produce protein using unorthodox methods. The first batch of protein produced using electricity and carbon dioxide is expected to become a forerunner for future hunger relief solutions.

The new revolutionary method, which is a collaboration between the Lappeenranta University of Technology and the Technical Research Centre of Finland (VTT) makes it possible to generate the nutrient virtually anywhere energy is available, which is projected to become a sustainable solution to famine and the earth's environmental problems. Additionally, the electricity-generated protein could also be used as animal feed, which would help release cropland for forestry, Finnish national broadcaster Yle reported.

And doesn't it seem strange that such breakthroughs no longer come from the US?

Israel At War With All Muslims ???

Tzipi Livni, former Israeli Foreign Minister, has said she fears the country is on the verge of a religious battle with the Muslim world. Her comments follow days of violent clashes after security forces imposed controversial security measures at a disputed shrine in Jerusalem.

Speaking to local media, Livni said Israel was "a step away" from turning its conflict against the Palestinians into a "pan-Muslim event" against the state of Israel. As a result, she believes Benjamin Netanyahu's government must be assertive and prevent such a scenario from arising.

The Global Sharing Economy - A MUST READ REPORT

Here is a primer on the "global sharing economy" which is being shoved down our unwilling throats:

It's fairly complex, so take your time reading it. This is important.

Yes, we will share; but one thing We The People will NOT share in is the profits. You can count on it. This is the way the powers that be can keep their power and privilege in a world of shrinking resources and an exploding human population.

The Future Of Security ???

Saw this ad today while surfing the news:

These security robots are not armed ... yet.

If you look around, you can find evidence the powers that be want to put a "robocop" on every corner:

So don't give me that crap that we'll never see "autonomous killer robots". In a very short time, they will be a done deal and we'll never be able to get rid of them.

But they will be capable of getting rid of us, and perhaps that is their true purpose.

What Is The FBI's Real Purpose ???

Over the past few months, the story of the Awan brothers has been largely ignored by mainstream media. However, the Pakistani-born brothers Abid, Imran, and Jamal Awan are at the center of a criminal investigation by U.S. Capital Hill Police and the FBI. While official charges have not yet been filed, allegations of wrong doing vary from simply overcharging taxpayers for congressional IT equipment to blackmailing members of Congress with secrets captured from emails.

You can read the rest @

It should be obvious that when the FBI "seizes evidence", it apparently does so to make certain that evidence will never see the light of day. Several examples come to mind:

  • JFK assassination
  • OKC bombing
  • 9/11 attacks
  • Hillary's espionage activities
  • DNC meddling with 2016 election

Can someone please tell me what useful purpose is served by the CIA, the FBI, and the NSA? And by "useful", I mean of value to We The People. Merely covering up for the powers that be doesn't cut it any more.

Strip Mining The World

Here are some words of wisdom from Robert Gore:

A gigantic mine engages in every conceivable destructive practice—strip mining, heap leaching, tailings dams and ponds and so on. It pays such low wages its workers only make ends meet by borrowing from the company at usurious rates. The mine has befouled the air and poisoned the water. Many workers are chronically sick and their children are afflicted with birth defects. The mine’s absentee owners know that the mine is played out and the tailings dam is structurally unsound. They close the mine, count their profits, and move on. A month later the dam gives way. A deluge of noxious sludge inundates the town below the dam, sparing no one and rendering the area uninhabitable.

The government is a strip mining operation, plundering the dwindling residual value of a once wealthy America. Forget ostensible justifications, policy is crafted to allow those who control the government to maximize their take and put the costs on their victims, leaving devastation in their wake.

Wars are no longer about defending the country or even making the world safe for democracy. They are about appropriations, not to be won, but profitably prolonged. The Middle East and Northern Africa have been a mother lode. You would think their sixteen-year war in backward and impoverished Afghanistan would be a shameful disgrace for the military and the intelligence agencies. It’s not. They’ve milked that conflict for all its worth, and now brazenly talk about a “generational war”: many more years of more of the same.

Bolivia's Declaration Of Independence

Bolivia’s President Declares ‘Total Independence’ From World Bank And IMF

Bolivia’s President Evo Morales has been highlighting his government’s independence from international money lending organizations and their detrimental impact the nation, the Telesur TV reported.

“A day like today in 1944 ended Bretton Woods Economic Conference (USA), in which the IMF and WB were established,” Morales tweeted. “These organizations dictated the economic fate of Bolivia and the world. Today we can say that we have total independence of them.”

Morales has said Bolivia’s past dependence on the agencies was so great that the International Monetary Fund had an office in government headquarters and even participated in their meetings.

The Power To Pardon

Some are whining about President Trump's statements about his power to pardon.

Here is what the US Constitution specifies:

Article II, Section 2
1: The President shall ... have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.

So he CAN pardon anyone, but not himself if he is impeached.

CIA Vs. Wikileaks

CIA Director Mike Pompeo remains inconsolably hostile toward whistleblower organization WikiLeaks, insisting they are a “non-state hostile intelligence service” and are plotting to “take down America any way they can and find any willing partner to achieve that end.”

Hostility to WikiLeaks has been a mainstay in the US government, as every administration faces the prospect of their covert misdeeds becoming a matter of public record, to their general embarrassment albeit rarely to the end of any meaningful reform.

I think the phrase "hostile intelligence service plotting to take down America any way they can and find any willing partner to achieve that end" applies more to the CIA than to Wikileaks.

The CIA is NOT acting in the best interests of We The People. Wikileaks, on the other hand, appears to be doing just that.

Does Amazon Really Need Human Workers ???

Do you remember those Amazon jobs I mentioned a month ago?

“Associates will be stationed at ergonomic work stations and when customer orders come in, the robots will bring the inventory to them at the work station, where an associate will pick the item off a shelf and put in a tote and get sent off to packing,” explains Ashley Robinson, spokesperson for Amazon Operations.

Source -

Well, it looks like they may be VERY short lived:

Robot developers say they are close to a breakthrough - getting a machine to pick up a toy and put it in a box.

It is a simple task for a child, but for retailers it has been a big hurdle to automating one of the most labor-intensive aspects of e-commerce: grabbing items off shelves and packing them for shipping.

Several companies, including Saks Fifth Avenue owner Hudson’s Bay Co. and Chinese online-retail giant Inc., have recently begun testing robotic “pickers” in their distribution centers. Some robotics companies say their machines can move gadgets, toys and consumer products 50% faster than human workers.

& & & & & & & &

Until recently, robots had to be trained to identify and grab each item, which is impractical in a distribution center that might stock an ever-changing array of millions of products.

Automation companies such as Kuka AG, Dematic Corp., and Honeywell International Inc. unit Intelligrated, as well as startups like RightHand Robotics Inc. and IAM Robotics LLC are working on automating picking.

Of the many myths that befog the modern political mind, none is so corrupting of the understanding or so incongruent with historical fact as the notion that the wealthy and the powerful do not conspire.

They do.

They conspire continually, habitually, effectively, diabolically and on a scale that beggars the imagination. To deny this conspiracy fact is to deny both overwhelming empirical evidence and elementary reason.

Not Protecting, Not Serving

A federal Homeland Security law enforcement officer was assigned to Metro transit patrol as part of a beefed-up security plan for the busy Fourth of July weekend.

He didn’t like what he saw.

Late in the afternoon on July 4, the officer walked into the North Hanley MetroLink substation to find 12 St. Louis County police officers milling about. A resulting Metro check of video footage determined that not only were county police officers loitering in the North Hanley security office instead of patrolling trains or platforms, at one point they covered the security camera with an envelope and tape.

Thought For The Day - July 22, 2017

The very idea of freedom presupposes some objective moral law which overarches rulers and ruled alike. Subjectivism about values is eternally incompatible with democracy. We and our rulers are of one kind only so long as we are subject to one law. But if there is no Law of Nature, the ethos of any society is the creation of its rulers, educators and conditioners; and every creator stands above and outside his creation.

We should value those who solicit our votes by other standards than have recently been in fashion. While we believe that good is something to be invented, we demand of our rulers such qualities as “vision,” “dynamism,” “creativity,” and the like. If we returned to the objective view we should demand qualities much rarer, and much more beneficial – virtue, knowledge, diligence and skill. Vision is for sale, or claims to be for sale, everywhere. But give me a man who will do a day’s work for a day’s pay, who will refuse bribes, who will not make up his facts, and who has learned his job.

Social Darwinism In The Market-State

According to this silly piece, Trump is guided by "social Darwinism". If you believe the author, this is a truly horrible state of affairs:

The reality is that ALL the powers that be are guided by social Darwinism. It is a philosophy which has contributed to the destruction of our once compassionate culture.

Did it, as some believe, stem from the writings of Ayn Rand? Perhaps, but it can be found in its purest form in the core beliefs of the "market-state" concept:

The “market-state” is the latest constitutional order, one that is just emerging in a struggle for primacy with the dominant constitutional order of the 20th century, the nation-state. Whereas the nation-state based its legitimacy on a promise to better the material well-being of the nation, the market-state promises to maximize the opportunity of each individual citizen.
Philip Bobbitt

The market-state guarantees everyone "equal opportunity", but then social Darwinism takes over. The rich get richer, and the poor are squeezed into lifeless husks.

And we're supposed to blame this on Trump? What a crock of shit!

According to this report, Jeff Bezos thinks there can be one trillion humans living in our solar system:

Dear Jeff - I hate to pee on your cornflakes, but here are some inconvenient facts:

Texas Polluters In The News Again

A Washington, D.C.-based environmental advocacy group sued the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Thursday, arguing the federal government isn’t properly policing air pollution permits the state of Texas issued to some of the largest industrial facilities in the U.S.

The Environmental Integrity Project - founded by former EPA officials - alleges that permits the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) issued to mega-plants across the Houston, Dallas and East Texas regions are illegal because the limits set on their emissions are too high, allowing them to spew too much pollution into the air.

The suit, filed in federal court, also claims the permits are so vague and complicated that TCEQ employees aren’t always sure if a plant is in violation, and therefore fail to adequately punish bad actors.

The Texas Tribune explored that low penalty rate in a recent investigation, finding that the TCEQ has so far fined fewer than 1 percent of the 3,723 emissions events that occurred in 2016.

“EPA knows that Texas issues unenforceable permits with illegal loopholes that render useless some of the most basic pollution control requirements of federal and state law,” said Gabriel Clark-Leach, a lawyer for the Environmental Integrity Project, which says it filed the lawsuit on behalf of the Texas environmental groups Air Alliance Houston, Sierra Club and TEJAS (Texas Environmental Justice Advocacy Services).

You can read the rest @

I worked for TCEQ in a former life. I have seen some of these permits. They are in fact EXTREMELY complicated.

But these are extremely complicated plants, and as I understand it the law allows them to operate under their existing permits until changes are made which would trigger implementation of newer federal and state laws.

In my opinion, the amount of toxins spewed into the air, buried in the ground, and dumped into the water in Texas is an affront to nature and a dire threat to all life on this planet. But laws alone will not fix the problem.

As long as we continue to extract "wealth" from the earth, there will be waste dumped into the environment. Only a complete change in our way of life is going to make a difference. The earth cannot heal if we continue to act like a cancer.

Teens Laugh While Man Drowns

Police and prosecutors say little can be done legally after the revelation that a group of teens filmed the dying moments of a 32-year-old disabled man last week, with the teens mocking, cursing and laughing while the man drowned in a fenced-off pond.

The Brevard County State Attorney's Office released the video to FLORIDA TODAY and called the incident a "tragedy" and said the teens' lack of action had "no moral justification" but added that the teens do not appear to have violated any laws.

The minute-long video, which police called "extremely disturbing," found its way to social media over the weekend before ending up in the hands of detectives.

The clip depicts the unidentified teens - ages 14 to 16 - off-camera, laughing as the man screamed off in the distance for help before going under in the murky water just after noon July 9 off Plaza Parkway. There were no calls to 911 from the teens.

Can We Be Our Own Doctors ???

Is this the solution to the US healthcare crisis?

The health care sector is facing a far-reaching and unpredictable revolution. Smartphones are capable of replacing many devices that have become standard in medical practices and some apps will soon be able to provide diagnoses as well. Patients are becoming less reliant on doctors.

For millennia, sick people have been dependent on help from others, a healer or a doctor. But now, mobile devices are beginning to change that age-old state of affairs. Coupled with the power of artificial intelligence, the mobile phone promises to fundamentally change medical care. Many medical examinations that were thus far only possible in a doctor's office can now be undertaken at any time by anyone -- even while sitting at home in your easy chair.

You can read the rest @

The downside to this is that the CORRECTIVE side of the equation (e.g., surgery, medication, physical therapies) is still controlled by Big Med and Big Pharma. Without them, self-diagnosis is of little value.

And you can count on the healthcare industry to fight tooth and nail to prevent We The People from becoming our own doctors. They can't afford their mansions, fancy cars, and expensive vacations without us.

Do Palestinians Have The Right To Fight Back ???

Here is a seldom heard point of view:

Long ago, it was settled that resistance and even armed struggle against a colonial occupation force is not just recognised under international law but specifically endorsed.

In accordance with international humanitarian law, wars of national liberation have been expressly embraced, through the adoption of Additional Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions of 1949 (pdf), as a protected and essential right of occupied people everywhere.

Finding evolving vitality in humanitarian law, for decades the General Assembly of the United Nations (UNGA) - once described as the collective conscience of the world - has noted the right of peoples to self-determination, independence and human rights.

You can read the rest @

If this is true, then the US should erect a no-fly zone over Gaza and the West Bank as part of our "responsibility to protect" the Palestinians, right?

We all know such a thing will never happen, since Israel and its puppet (a.k.a. the USA) control the definition of who is a terrorist and who is a freedom fighter, who is a human being and who is not.

Should Seniors Be Allowed To Vote ???

Here is an alarming proposal:

In 1970, Douglas Stewart, a university professor in California, was upset by the rise of Ronald Reagan and suggested that perhaps there were too many old people moving to California and voting. He made a modest proposal of his own, writing a controversial article in the New Republic titled "Disenfranchise the old":

'The vote should not be a privilege in perpetuity, guaranteed by minimal physical survival, but a share in the continuing fate of the political community, both in its benefits and its risks. The old, having no future, are dangerously free from the consequences of their own political acts, and it makes no sense to allow the vote to someone who is actuarially unlikely to survive, and pay the bills for, the politician or party he may help elect ... I would advocate that all persons lose the vote at retirement or age 70, whichever is earlier.'

You can read the rest @

I will soon fall into the age group the professor wants to disenfranchise, so I'm very interested in how this turns out.

The "logic" of this proposal is similar to that which would not tax the property of people who do not have kids in school. Or perhaps we should pay for our prisons by taxing only the families of prisoners.

We have (or at least should have) a social contract, and everyone has an obligation to be part of it - as a giver and as a recipient. There would have been PLENTY of money to pay for the care of the aged and the needy if Congress hadn't spent the money on wars, if the Pentagon hadn't wasted the $6.5 trillion they can't account for, and if US corporations hadn't offshored our economy.

I recommend that we not allow college professors or students to vote. They clearly don't know what the hell they're talking about, and much of what they do is more disruptive than constructive.

Is Rick Perry A Dummy Or A Liar ???

US energy minister Rick Perry believes that the US could dominate the global energy market by exporting large amounts of domestic oil, gas and coal. The Financial Times reports that President Donald Trump wants to expand its domestic capacity to export liquid gas (LNG) .

The petroleum field in the Permian Basin in the state of Texas plays an important role in obtaining supremacy in the global oil market . With an estimated 75 billion barrels (159 liters barrel) of oil, the world's second largest petroleum deposits are expected to be there. The world's largest known oil deposits are located in the Ghawar field in Saudi Arabia.

However, an analysis by shows that the oil deposits in the Permian basin and thus also the potential to rise to oil power are overestimated. During the current year, the US would have had to import 9 million barrels of crude oil per day. Russia's Doomsday System

Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of Chechnya, gave a rare interview to a smaller media outlet in the United States that aired Tuesday, and what he said is taking many aback.

While speaking to HBO’s Real Sports, Kadyrov ... made a troubling comment about his country’s nuclear arsenal and a Russian doomsday device.

Kadyrov said, “America is not really a strong enough state for us to regard it as an enemy of Russia. We have a strong government and are a nuclear state. Even if our government was completely destroyed, our nuclear missiles would be automatically deployed. We will put the whole world on its knees and screw it from behind.” That comment certainly puts the left’s insistence on a war with Russia in perspective.  And Kadyrov is probably being more accurate than not in that statement.

According to The New York Times, Russia built a system in the 1980s that could do what Kadyrov described, known as the Perimeter System. Bruce Blair, the former US nuclear officer who broke the story of the Perimeter System for The New York Times in 1993, told Business Insider that the system works when it detects nuclear explosions. Only a small crew, deep in a bunker, has a hand in the otherwise automated system, according to Blair.

Essentially, if another country conducted a nuclear attack that would destroy the government of Russia or anything a 1980s-era system would perceive as a nuclear attack, an automated system would empty Russia’s missile silos in an immediate counterattack.

You can read the rest @

Remember Dr. Strangelove? A similar claim was made in the movie about a "cobalt thorium g" doomsday device.

I doubt Mr. Kadyrov knows anything at all about such a system, but its existence is theoretically possible.

In any event, we shouldn't be playing nuclear weapons chicken with the Russkies.

Cocaine At All Time High

The U.S.-Colombia drug war alliance has failed to stop the country’s drug trade, with last year’s coca yield breaking records. The record harvests can be traced to the country’s government, right-wing paramilitaries and wealthy individuals who are sympathetic to U.S. business interests.

End Of The USA ???

Lana Del Ray sings about the possible end of the USA on her new album (but you'll have to search hard to find mention of it in this NYT review):

Massacre In Mosul

It appears that 40,000 civilians were slaughtered during the "liberation" of Mosul:

So, we "saved" these people from ISIS by killing them?

Doesn't that remind you of this news bulletin from the February 8, 1968 edition of The New York Times?

BENTRE, Feb. 7 (AP) - “It became necessary to destroy the town to save it,” a United States major said today. He was talking about the decision by allied commanders to bomb and shell the town regardless of civilian casualties, to rout the Vietcong.

Apparently we have learned nothing since then except how to kill more effectively and how to get away with it.

Why Single Payer Is The Only Real Choice

The Senate health care bill appears to be dead - done in by the Republican Party's inability to agree on a basic philosophical question: Should healthy Americans have to subsidize the sick?

That's the whole point of health insurance - to flatten the cost by lumping the healthy with the sick. If the sick (especially the catastrophically ill) have to bear the full cost of their medical bills, they might as well not have insurance at all.

Whatever the case, the US healthcare system needs FUNDAMENTAL change. We pay the most, but have the worst outcomes in the developed world. That's messed up.

What Is Genocide ???

In 2002, when Ariel Sharon was prime minister and several times sent the Israeli army and tanks into the West Bank, I arrived in Ramallah just when the Israeli army was withdrawing. Ramallah was devastated and one of the places I visited was the Palestinian Cultural Center. There I met the center’s director, the renowned Palestinian novelist Liana Badr, who teaches at Columbia University now. Her manuscripts were torn and scattered across the floor. The hard drive containing her fiction and a whole library of plays and poetry had been stolen by the Israeli soldiers. Not a single book had survived. Master tapes of one of the best collections of Palestinian cinema were lost.

This was an assault on a people’s culture. The soldiers had urinated and defecated on the floors and on the desks and smeared feces on children’s paintings. It was the most vivid and telling symbol of what a colonial power does to the people whose country it occupies.

Obama's Minions

Former United Nations Ambassador Samantha Power's involvement in the unmasking by former Obama administration officials of sensitive national security information is raising red flags over what insiders view was an attempt by the former administration to undermine President Donald Trump and key figures on his team, according to current and former U.S. officials familiar with the situation.

Power appears to be central to efforts by top Obama administration officials to identify individuals named in classified intelligence community reports related to Trump and his presidential transition team, according to multiple sources.

Dumbest Claim Ever Made About The Holocaust ???

No, I don't think so. There are universal human laws, and one example is the set of laws we call "the Ten Commandments". Thou shalt not steal (Exodus 20:15 KJV) is one of them.

An E.T.'s View Of Earth's Economy

How would extraterrestrial anthropologists characterize Earth’s dominant socio-economic system? It’s not difficult to imagine their dismaying report:

“Earth’s economy glorifies waste. Its economists rejoice when a product is disposed as waste and replaced with a new product. This waste is perversely labeled ‘growth.’

Aimless wandering that consumes fossil fuels is likewise rejoiced as ‘growth.’

The stripping of the planet’s oceans for a few favored species of edible fish is also considered ‘growth’ as the process of destroying the ocean ecosystem generates sales of the desired seafood.

Even more perversely, the resulting shortages are also causes of rejoicing by the planet’s elites, as their ability to purchase the now-scarce resources boosts their social status and grandiose sense of self-worth.

This glorification of waste is the same dynamic that destroyed the civilization on Zork.

Earth’s economy also glorifies exploitation, as this maximizes profits, which appears to be the planetary equivalent of a secular religion that everyone believes as a Natural Law.

Thus slavery and monopoly are highly valued as the most reliable sources of profits. If ethical concerns limit the actual ownership of humans, Earth’s economy incentivizes feudal arrangements that share characteristics of servitude and bondage. In the current era, the favored mechanisms are over-indebtedness (debt-serfdom) and taxation by the state, which extracts approximately 40% of all labor via threat of imprisonment.

Earth’s elites exhibit a pathological preference for micro-managing the commoners via criminalizing much of everyday life and imposing extremely harsh punishments for any dissent or resistance to elite domination.

This is the same dynamic that doomed planetary civilizations in the Blug system.

Earth’s economy is currently dependent on depleting fossil fuels and borrowing from the future to fund consumption in the present, i.e. debt. Rather than face the reality that this is not sustainable and pursue other arrangements, Earth’s elites have chosen expediency, responding to the inevitable crises caused by depletion and dependence on debt with expedient but ultimately destructive policies that paper over the crises but at the cost of generating greater crises in the next iteration.

Humanity appears to default to magical thinking when faced with untenable situations that demand systemic change. This is eerily parallel to the now-lost civilization of Frum.

It seems Earth’s dominant species has selected the most destructive policies and mindsets to glorify and worship. Earth’s current civilization is doomed, with near-zero prospects for the necessary transition to a more sustainable, less exploitive arrangement.

Earth’s decline is a tragi-comedy, much like the one on Ononon that entertained our home planet audiences for a time.”

By the way, we give Nobel Prizes to the economists who support and enable this economy. How stupid is that?

Is The US Empire Collapsing ???

That's what a recent Pentagon report claims:

Stunning new evidence reveals that the US Department of Defense is waking up to the collapse of American primacy, and the rapid unraveling of the international order created by US power after the Second World War.

The report demands a massive expansion of military-industrial complex to maintain global ‘access to resources’.

But the Pentagon’s emerging vision of what comes next hardly inspires confidence. We breakdown both the insights and cognitive flaws in this vision. In future pieces we will ask the questions: What is really driving the end of the American empire? And based on that more accurate diagnosis of the problem, what is the real solution?

The Pentagon's perspective of "the American empire" seems to be based upon the world view expressed in George Kennan's 1946 "long telegram". You can read it here:

Claiming that a powerful military-industrial complex is needed to maintain global access to resources puts the lie to the "free trade" myth.

We always can obtain resources by purchasing them on the open market. What the Pentagon (and the entire US system) would rather have is the ability to FORCE poor peoples around the world to give up their resources for a fraction of their true value. That's why we support so many despots and tinhorn dictators who are willing to betray their own peoples in return for US bribes.

The real question here is - are we willing to continue paying hundreds of millions of dollars each year to support a military apparatus which does little to maintain our security, or do we wish to convert our nation into a equal partner with the other sovereign nations of the world?

It is my belief the empire will collapse no matter what we do, because it never should have existed in the first place. In anticipation of that event, we need to look to the future NOW and reign in our military machine.

Recently, in a Maryland suburb, a high school baseball team competed against players from a wealthier suburb nearby. A mother was happily chanting for her son’s team when she heard the “cheers” of the other team, issued by both adults and kids. “They chanted: ‘Lower average income! Lower average income!’” said the mother, Jodi Jacobson. The taunts continued: “Can’t your parents afford to feed you? Can we call child protective services?” At another game, players sang “That’s all right, that’s OK! You will work for us someday!”

“It was disgusting,” Jacobson concluded. “I was astounded at the crude and cruel things said by the people in the stands”.

Echoing this episode, school bullying over social class has found an even crueler iteration in “lunch-shaming”: children being humiliated for not having enough money to pay for their public school lunches.

When parents have failed to pay, in some states children’s little arms have been stamped with the phrase “lunch money”. In others, milk cartons have been taken from their hands and their hot food dumped in the garbage in front of their classmates.

This is one of the most disgusting things I have ever read.

Is this what the USA has become - a nation of selfish, hateful haves and have-nots?

Truly amazing!

NAFTA has been a disaster, from start to finish and top to bottom. Here is why:

Blue-Collar Workers In Both US & Mexico Devastated By NAFTA

The trade agreement between the United States, Mexico and Canada displaced about 2 million small farmers in Mexico.

As the state’s business leaders vie for a seat at the table during the North American Free Trade Agreement’s upcoming renegotiation talks, another interest group is hoping there is enough room for one more point of view.

Unlike those who advocate for cheaper products and tariff-free commerce, they’re speaking out for the blue-collar workers on both sides of the Rio Grande who say they have been devastated by the trade agreement.

“Our stance has been for almost 20 years that NAFTA has created an economic situation in which people are forced to leave their hometowns and their communities,” said Bianca Hinz-Foley Trejo, the program director for Austin Tan Cerca de la Frontera (ATCF).

NAFTA's "cheaper products and tariff-free commerce" have benefited the one percent; no one else.

But the chances of getting a meaningful renegotiation of NAFTA which will benefit those former blue-collar workers is near zero. There are too many billionaires who depend on "free trade" for their lavish lifestyles.

Flying Taxis In Brazil

You can read about them here:

They are still pricey, but well within the range of the one percent.

By the way, why do reports like this appear in a journal for physicists? Are we paying these professors too much money?

Thinking About Kamala

Dems are all abuzz about Kamala Harris. You can read about it here:

At this stage, she reminds me of Obama ad-Dajjal: she's a charismatic candidate whose defining characteristic is that she might win.

That's all Obama ad-Dajjal brought to the table, and we know how his administration turned out.

I don't care if someone is a winner or a loser, as long as he or she does what is right for our country.

Trouble Brewing On The Temple Mount

For the third consecutive day, Muslims refused to enter the Temple Mount compound due to the installation of metal detectors at some of its gates. Local residents warned Israel on Tuesday of the outcome of keeping the new measure, especially ahead of Friday prayers.

Mohammad Arar, a resident of the Old City, told The Jerusalem Post that locals were willing to escalate the situation until they received their wish. He added that Friday would be a critical turning point.

This is following a familiar pattern:

  • Provocation
  • Violent response
  • Clampdown
  • Explosion of violence
  • Extreme measures

The end result - Isreal will take over the Temple Mount.

Face it - Israel badly wants this property. They believe G-d says they can have it, and they will do anything to get it.

And since they have "undying" US support, they will get it.

Q: Why must the Third Temple be built by the Israelis?

A: For the benefit of the Antichrist. To do so serves no other Biblical purpose (at least not according to the New Testament - read it if you don't believe me).
