Here is a great report which provides ten reasons why there will not be a "nuclear renaissance" during the Trump administration:

They did leave out one factor - our nuclear warheads need tritium, and currently US tritium is produced in commercial power reactors.
However, continuing to manufacture tritium in this manner also will not require a "nuclear renaissance", so in general I agree with the authors.
