1.57 Trillion Dollars

That's how much the world spent on arms and war-related equipment this year. You can read about it here:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2016/12/12/1570000000000-much-world-spent-arms-year/

According to the UN's World Food Program, there are 795 million hungry people in the world. You can read about it here:

If we spent that arms-related money on feeding people (it amounts to almost $2,000 per hungry person), don't you think that would be a far better foreign policy for all concerned?

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
Romans 12:19-21 KJV
