Texas Rejects Iran Nuclear Deal

What's going on in Texas?

It’s binding under international law. No nation may unilaterally abrogate it. Nor can any of the 50 US states.

On May 16, Texas Governor Greg Abbott wrote Obama, irresponsibly calling the deal “fundamentally flawed,” saying he’ll maintain illegal sanctions.

He called on Texas legislators to toughen them, ludicrously claiming JCPOA “undermines (US) national security,” citing no corroborating evidence. None exists.

I guess we should have expected this from a state which has killed children in a church in Waco, has executed innocent people, and whose voters wanted Ted Cruz to be President.

For some reason, Israel has a lot of influence in Texas. I guess it's because of all the so-called Christians who live here, especially Pastor John Hagee.

Dear Greg: Texas is no longer a republic. If you want to do stuff like this, you should secede from the union.

Wait a minute ... you can't do that, either.
