Did Air Force Just Throw G-d Out Of The Cockpit ???

Some are lamenting (and others are celebrating) the Air Force's decision to not require officers, cadets, and recruits to end their oaths of office with the words "so help me G-d":

Put this in perspective by considering two facts:

(1) The US Constitution, Article VI, Para. 3 states "No religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States." The AF does not appear to have read and/or does not understand the very Constitution which is the basis for the oaths.

(2) Many of these officers, cadets, and recruits are Christians (or at least think they are). Jesus Himself said we should not swear oaths using the name of G-d:

Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:
But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:
Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.
Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.
But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
Matthew 5:33-37 KJV

No officer, cadet, or recruit of any military service should have been required to state "so help me G-d" in the first place.
