US Is The Most Destructive Empire

This map shows US military and CIA interventions since World War II:

Since the end of World War II, the United States has:

* Attempted to overthrow more than 50 foreign governments, most of which were democratically-elected.

* Dropped bombs on the people of more than 30 countries.

* Attempted to assassinate more than 50 foreign leaders.

* Attempted to suppress a populist or nationalist movement in 20 countries.

* Grossly interfered in democratic elections in at least 30 countries.

But I guess that's okay with you, right?

Here is an interesting comparison from the same source:

The US Empire is the largest in world history with more than 1,100 military bases and outposts around the world. To put that in perspective, compared to two other large empires, there were 37 Roman bases at that empire’s peak in AD 117 and 36 British bases at empire’s peak in 1898. Not only is the US Empire the largest in history but it has been the most destructive.

Yet, many of you still think our nation is a constitutional republic. Keep dreaming.

No, wait ... you guys have already had your dream. The real dreamers are the ones streaming across the border asking for sanctuary.

How can you ask for sanctuary in the very country which is responsible for your persecution in the first place?
