Is The Planet Really Heating Up ???

According to this study, the USA will someday become an unlivable desert:

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-06-24/what-to-expect-when-your-planet-is-expecting-risky-business-in-climate.html

Are you, like me, bothered by the fact that this "study" was financed by the following persons?
  • Hank Paulson, one of the chief architects of the 2008 economic crisis (net worth $700 million);
  • Tom Steyer, a former hedge fund manager (net worth $1.6 billion); and
  • Michael Bloomberg, former Mayor of NYC (net worth $33 billion), who said the following about the destruction of 9/11 evidence, "Just looking at a piece of metal generally doesn't tell you anything."

Is their "concern" based upon a desire to protect We The People (unlikely), a desire to protect the wealth of people like them (likely), or a desire to become even more wealthy at our expense (extremely likely).

I want to hear what poor people think we should do about "climate disruption". They are the ones who will be affected the most. And if the solution is to seize the wealth of people like Paulsen, Steyer, and Bloomberg to address this huge problem, then let's do it. If these rich bastards are so concerned about the planet, I'm sure they won't mind having to donate their wealth to save it.
