The Destruction of Homs, Syria

The Old City had been home to 80,000 Christians, but by the end of the siege, there were just 23. As they returned Monday, many of them were overcome with emotion.

“Let us live with dictators,” said the Rev. Michael Rabaheih, from the Greek Orthodox church in the neighborhood of Hamadiya, little of which is left standing. “If this is freedom, we don’t need it."

If you have time, please read the embedded report which provides further details of the destruction of Homs:

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • Iraq was ruled by a "dictator", but it was one of the most advanced countries in the Middle East. So we killed Saddam and wrecked his country.
  • Libya was ruled by a "dictator", but it was one of the most advance countries in Africa. So we killed al-Gaddafi and wrecked his country.
  • Syria is ruled by a "dictator", but it was once a stable, prosperous country. So we're trying to overthrow al-Assad and are wrecking his country.

Some of you may in fact believe that we have to destroy these countries to save them. In reality, we're not saving anyone ... not even ourselves. While the American people are occupied with horseshit like the latest version of the Clinton Chronicles, our proxies are destroying the nation states of the world ... in the name of what? It's not just about money; this is thinly veiled jihad at its worst.
