Britain is a 'post-Christian' country

A former Archbishop of Canterbury says that Britain is a post-Christian country:

I would add that the United States has become a non-Christian country.

What are some of the things which Jesus urged people to do?

He told us to love one another, but how many Americans still do that?

He told us to love our enemies, but we have become a nation that is quick to anger and which never forgives our numerous enemies.

He told us to be merciful, but we show no mercy.

He told us to feed the hungry, clothe the needy, visit the sick and those imprisoned, but we have neglected to do any of these. They're not in the budget.

He told us that the meek would inherit the earth, but we teach that the bold can have whatever they chose to take.

America doesn't want to know Jesus, and when the time comes He shall not know us either.

But hey, you can do whatever you want. Isn't that a fair trade?
