I have to agree with him and with former President Jimmy Carter.
But realistically, the US has not changed that much over the years. Everything we're now complaining about are things the US used to do to the rest of the world. The only difference is that now the US government is doing these things to their own citizens.
So I guess you could say there's some fairness and justice in what's happening after all.
