Methane outbreak alert

Very interesting climate change essay from "Dissident Voice":

Believe (or disbelieve) what you want about climate change, if the methane under the ocean floor enters our atmosphere we are toast.

Have you ever noticed how no one talks about how the methane got there and why it hasn't bubbled up until now?

My theory? The methane hydrate is cometary in origin, from extremely long-term comets in the Kuiper Belt and the Oort Cloud. Every now and then <<BANG>> we get hit by a huge comet swarm. The material rams itself into the ocean floor and is covered by the sediment. Atmospheric disturbances caused by the swarm causes the earth to cool, keeping the newly arrived methane trapped in the sediments. Eons later, as the planet heats up the methane starts to bubble out and eventually caused runaway warming of the type we are about to see.

More of less like what's predicted in the Book of Revelation:

And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
Revelation 16:21 KJV
