What justice? What honor?

There is no question that the CIA has tortured lots of people in the last 11 years. Now it turns out that the only CIA man who will be punished as a result is the one who tried to blow the whistle on what was happening:

Is that justice? Not in my book.

I believe that as a result of the military coup which took place on 9/11/2001, both George W. Bush and Obama ad-Dajjal have given the CIA free rein to essentially do whatever they want. (See also my 1/12/2013 blog post "When did the coup take place?")

I recommend that everyone, especially military officers on active duty, listen to and/or read General Douglas MacArthur's farewell address at West Point (Sylvanus Thayer Award Acceptance Address). You can find it @
http://www.americanrhetoric.com/speeches/douglasmacarthurthayeraward.html

Among the key words of his address are the following:

You are the leaven which binds together the entire fabric of our national system of defense. From your ranks come the great captains who hold the nation's destiny in their hands the moment the war tocsin sounds. The Long Gray Line has never failed us. Were you to do so, a million ghosts in olive drab, in brown khaki, in blue and gray, would rise from their white crosses thundering those magic words: Duty, Honor, Country.

The military coup of 9/11/2001 and the political assassinations which proceeded it were only able to succeed because the military either participated directly or at the very least acquiesced in what others did. Nearly every act of torture carried out by the CIA was witnessed by military officers. That the generals put their own careers ahead of the honor of their country is an act bordering on treason.

There are no others who could stop the insanity currently going on in this nation. They fact that they either will not or cannot means that we have no hope. When Obama ad-Dajjal sends men to take away your guns, the military will be there to shoot you if you do not comply.

I see those ghosts rising up, don't you? Unfortunately, the graduates of West Point apparently cannot.
